Rivetless connection technology utilizes a sheet metal pressing machine and a dedicated connection mold to form a stress free internal inlaid circle with certain tensile and shear strength based on the cold extrusion deformation of the plate material through an instantaneous high pressure processing process, which can connect two or more layers of plates with different materials and thicknesses.
The rivetless connection technology has no requirements for the surface of the board, and the original coating and paint layer on the surface of the board at the connection point are not damaged.
The connection process has a high degree of automation, allowing for single or multiple simultaneous connections, as well as non-destructive connection strength testing and automatic monitoring of the entire process, resulting in extremely high production efficiency.
In the process of rivetless connection, the punch first contacts the upper material, and the material begins to stretch and deform into the concave mold under the pressure of the upper mold. At the same time, the movable part of the concave mold opens outward to fully deform the metal material in the cavity of the concave mold, forming a tight connection point. Then, the punch returns, and the movable part of the concave mold returns to its original position under the action of spring force.
