1、 Maintenance of convex and concave molds
1. When disassembling the convex and concave molds, attention should be paid to the original condition of the molds, in order to facilitate restoration during subsequent mold installation; If there is padding or displacement, the thickness of the gasket should be engraved on the part and recorded.
2. When replacing the convex mold, it is necessary to test whether the demolding block concave mold is smooth and whether the gap between the test insertion and the concave mold is even; When replacing the concave mold, it is also necessary to test whether the gap between the insertion and the punch is even.
3. In order to shorten the punch after grinding, it is necessary to add shims to achieve the required length. It is necessary to check whether the effective length of the punch is sufficient. To replace a broken convex mold, the cause should be identified, and the corresponding concave mold should be checked for any broken edges and whether grinding of the edges is necessary.
4. When assembling the convex mold, it is necessary to check whether the gap between the convex mold and the fixed block or plate is sufficient, and if there is a pressure block, it is necessary to check whether there is any movement margin left. The assembly of the concave mold should be placed horizontally, and then a flat iron block should be placed on the surface of the concave mold. It should be lightly tapped into place with a copper rod, and should not be tilted or forcefully knocked in. The bottom of the concave mold should be chamfered. After installation, check whether the concave mold surface is flush with the mold surface.
5. After the assembly of the convex mold, concave mold, and mold core, necessary inspections should be carried out on the care belt to ensure that all parts are installed incorrectly or upside down. Check whether the concave mold and concave mold cushion blocks are installed upside down, whether the material hole is blocked, whether new parts need to be stolen, whether there is enough material to be stolen, and whether the parts that need to be locked in the mold are locked tightly.
6. Pay attention to confirming the locking of the stripper plate screws. When locking, balance the force from the inside out, and cross lock. Do not lock one screw first and then another screw to avoid tilting the stripper plate, causing the punch to break or reducing the accuracy of the mold.
2、 Maintenance of the stripper plate
1. The disassembly of the stripper plate can first be balanced with two elevators, and then balanced with both hands to remove the force. When encountering difficulties in disassembly, it is necessary to check whether the inside of the mold is clean, whether all locking screws have been removed, whether there is damage to the mold caused by material jamming, and identify the cause before taking corresponding measures. Blindly handling is not allowed.
2. When assembling the stripper plate, first clean the convex mold and stripper plate, add lubricating oil to the guide pillar and convex mold inlet, place them smoothly, and then press them in place with both hands and repeat several times. If it is too tight, the cause should be identified (whether the guide pillar and guide sleeve guide are normal, whether there is damage to each part, whether the new convex mold can smoothly pass through the stripper plate, and whether the position is correct), and corresponding measures should be taken.
3. If there are pressure blocks on the fixed plate, it is necessary to check if there is enough space on the stripping back plate. The material contact surface between the stripper plate and the concave mold can generate indentations during prolonged stamping. When the indentations are severe, they can affect the material's pressing accuracy and cause abnormal and unstable product dimensions. Therefore, it is necessary to repair or regrind the stripper insert and stripper plate.
4. The contour sleeve should be checked for accuracy. When it is not of the same height, it will cause the stripper plate to tilt, and its precise guidance and smooth elastic compression function will be damaged, requiring maintenance.
3、 Adjustment of die clearance
1. The positioning hole of the mold core is worn out due to frequent and repeated combinations of the mold core, resulting in large or uneven gaps after assembly (resulting in looseness) or positioning deviation. This can lead to poor cross-sectional shape after punching, easy fracture of the convex mold, burrs, etc. It can be checked by checking the condition of the cross section after offset cutting and making appropriate gap adjustments.
2. When the gap is small, there are fewer cross-sections. When the gap is large, there are more cross-sections and larger burrs, and a reasonable gap is obtained through displacement. After adjustment, appropriate records should be made, and markings can also be made on the edge of the concave mold for subsequent maintenance operations.
3. In daily production, attention should be paid to collecting and preserving the original mold strips in good condition. If the subsequent production is not smooth or the mold undergoes variation, it can be used as a reference for mold maintenance.
4. In addition, auxiliary systems such as whether the top material pin is worn, whether it can top the material, whether the guide pin and bushing are worn, should be inspected and maintained carefully.
4、 Inspection of guide parts
1. What is the clearance between the guide pillar and guide sleeve, whether there are burns or wear marks, and whether the oil supply status of the mold guide is normal should be checked.
2. The wear and tear of the guide components and the damage to accuracy can reduce the accuracy of the mold, leading to problems in various parts of the mold. Proper maintenance and regular replacement are necessary. Check the accuracy of the guide parts. If the guide pins are worn and have lost their proper belt guide accuracy and function, they must be replaced. Check the condition of the stripping spring and the top material spring to see if they are broken or if they have been used for a long time but have lost their original strength due to fatigue. Regular maintenance and replacement must be carried out, otherwise it may cause damage to the mold or hinder production.
